The Algona City Council will meet today at Algona
City Hall. City Clerk Rexanne McEnroe says Council
will meet in work session at 3:30 to hear a presentation
by the engineering firm of Kuehl and Payer about
Geographical Information Systems, and during the
regular session at 4:30 Council will work through
a nine item agenda. Council is expected to
approve 10-thousand dollars from the Revolving
Loan Fund for Teresa Kellenburg, who is revamping
her downtown Algona business and calling it
Teresa`s Custom Tailoring. Officials at Bishop
Garrigan High School will ask for and are expected to
receive approval on a fireworks display for the
Homecoming Game Friday night. The fireworks
will be shot off on the east side of the football
field.
