KRHC Loses General Surgeon and Physician

Recruitment is underway at the Kossuth Regional Health Center for a new general surgeon. Dr. Prasad Nadkarni, the current surgeon at KRHC, and Dr. Manasi Nadkarni, internal medicine and women’s health specialist, are planning to resign this January.
KRHC Public Relations Coordinator Joanne Roepke Bode says the two physicians have served KRHC and the surrounding communities for eleven years and will begin at Unity Hospital in Muscatine, IA in February. Recruitment has already begun for a general surgeon and KRHC plans to work with recruitment sources to bring another physician on-board in the clinic.
