The Algona City Council meets Monday afternoon at 4:30 at Algona City Hall.
Council has drawn up an ordinance increasing the amount of members of the Algona Park Commission and making them non elected appointees. The ordinance will go through the first of three required readings and votes and the public is invited to comment on the issue during the meeting. The Council also has the option of expediting the issue and waiving the second and third readings if they so desire. Council directed City Staffers to draw up the ordinance at a recent retreat.
