Flood Warning
The National Weather Service in Des Moines has issued a Flood Warning for the East Fork of the Des Moines River till further notice. The river`s stage checked this morning was at the flood stage of 14 feet and was expected to slowly fall the rest of this week. Klga spoke with Algona City Public Works Director Chad Schaeffer and Kossuth County Emergancy Manager Jim Kelly who say that there are not many residential interests along the river and no reason for grave concern.
