Klga News takes tour of Water`s Edge Nature Center.
The Kossuth County Nature Center at Smith Lake north of Algona is now open for visitors and people wishing to utilize the facility. Naturalist Scott Moeller of the Kossuth County Conservation Board says education is the primary purpose of the two leveled Nature Center. He says some programs for children and adults will be announced soon. Moeller says a meeting room with a view of the lake can be rented for 25 dollars an hour or 150 dollars a day. Moeller says anyone can come out and use the facilities which include a library and a viewing deck Monday through Friday from 8-A.M to 4:30-P.M.
