Kossuth County Board of Supervisors have weekly meeting.

The Kossuth County Board of Supervisors met in weekly session at the Kossuth County Courthouse. Kossuth County Auditor Joann Bormann says the Supervisors worked through 13 agenda items on the day including the canvassing process for the recent City Elections that were held last week. Kossuth County Engineer Richard Schiek says work on the Transfer Station is nearing completion at the Kossuth County Landfill. Also at a state of completion is the Water`s Edge Nature Center which will hold open houses for donors and the general public Thursday and Sunday. Also the Supervisors have recieved word that a hog confinement operation request from an entity called Five Acre Swine L-L-C in section 27 of Riverdale Township south and west of Algona has been withdrawn.
