Veterans Day tribute in Algona.

A Veterans Day tribute was held in Algona at O.B. Laing Middle School. The tribute was held during the school day in the school auditorium. The Veterans were paraded in and sat up front, a musical tribute was presented by Mr. Rich a veteran himself and the O.B. Laing Middle School Band of military anthems. 8th grader Klint King made some remarks on behalf of the student body. At the conclusion the Veterans received a fresh flower for their lapels. A good crowd enjoyed the tribute and the Veterans seemed to enjoy themselves.
