The Whittemore Betterment Committee held its eighth Chili Cookoff event at Saint Micheals Parrish Hall.
The Golden Ladle Winner was the team of Dick Fickbohm and Harry Bormann. The Judge`s Choice winners were:
1st Place: the team of Dave Fickbohm of Harry Bormann,
2nd Place: Gene Thompson, and a third place tie between the teams of Ron and Ellen Meyer and Tom Eischen, Al Frideres and Ed Schmidt, The People`s Choice winners were: Ryan and Cody Henderson, 2nd place went to the Jerry Larsen crew, and a third place tie between the Red Hat Ladies and the Dan Muller crew.
The Best of Show winner was a repeat winner from last year in the team of Ryan and Cody Henderson.
