The Algona City Council met yesterday, among the happenings
Council approved a bike and walking trail at the DiamondEstates
subdivision on the east side of Algona. The 10 foot wide trail will
offer walking and biking with non motorized vehicles.
Council approved a five year Capital Improvements Plan with
a price tag of nearly 11-million dollars. Council also approved
the second of three required readings of an ordinance prohibiting
parking in some problem areas around Saint Cecelia`s and
Algona High School.
