Kossuth County Fairboard to hold Annual Meeting.

The Kossuth County Fair Board will have their annual meeting tomorrow night. Fairboard President Tom Henry says the meeting will be at Iowa State University Extension Headquarters at 7-P.M. Henry says the number of Fairboard members is dropping from 12 to nine for a variety of reasons, Mark Walker of Algona, Joyce Paulsen of Bancroft and Mike Bormann of Bode will not be running again. Henry says the original number of Fairboard members was nine which is feels is a manageable number. He says lots of things are happening as the Fairboard prepares for the 150th Kossuth County Fair next summer. The dates of the fair are July 27th to August 3rd which is a Sunday through Sunday basis. A recent tee shirt design contest was a big success and a Dance and Car Raffle event also are in the works to continue fund raising efforts for the Kossuth County Fair.
