East Fork Biodiesel to be up and running soon.

The East Fork Biodiesel Plant is expected to begin production a week from today. Company officials say a private ribbon cutting ceremony will take place Friday.
The new facility will employee 36 people and will produce 60 million gallons a year. The construction project was managed by East Fork Biodiesel L-L-C and partner the Renewable Energy Group. The plant will be the largest in Iowa and the 5th largest presently in the nation. The facility is located just east of Algona.
