Algona City Council meets this afternoon.

The Algona City Council meets this afternoon at 4:30 at City Hall. City Clerk Rexanne Mc Enroe says council will work through 15 agenda items. The City apparently is having some difficulty with the Algona Firm of Barco Development over completion of the Algona Welcome Center which is a bathroom and rest stop downtown. Also on the agenda today, Greg Bradley of the Algona Family YMCA will speak to Council about the city committing dollars to an expansion project which would include the construction of an indoor swimming pool.
