Accident in Eagle Township.

The Kossuth County Sheriffs Department reports a one vehicle accident in the Eagle Township area near the Minnesota border on Kossuth County Road A-16 near County Road P-16. Deputy Charles Robinson says in an accident report that the driver is identified as 37 year old Dana Smith of Swea City who was driving a 2004 Toyota Tacoma pick up truck. According to the accident report the vehicle was going eastbound and hit an icy patch when control was apparently lost and the vehicle went into the north ditch and rolled one time. The accident report indicates that a passenger in the Smith vehicle 41 year old Dennis Doocy of Lone Rock was injured. No word on Doocy`s injury status was made available.
