Women accused of attempted murder of mother appears in court.

A woman from Ventura who is accused of trying to murder her mother with a frying pan appeared at a preliminary court hearing at Garner. Valerie Hasbrouck is charged with attempted murder and is being held at the Hancock County Jail. She was arrested back on December 3rd. No arraignment date has been scheduled in Hancock County District Court.
