The average price for an acre of farmland in Kossuth County rose 22 point four percent in the last year according to a survey from Iowa State Extension.
According to the statistics: the average price for an acre of farmland in Kossuth County was four thousand 537
Dollars a price that is well above the statewide average.
The Kossuth County Farmland value is higher per acre on average than four of the six surrounding counties in the Klga listening area. The rise in Iowa farmland value is the greatest since the Bi-Centenial year of 1976 31 years ago. Experts say the developing biofuels industry is increasing demand for crops.
