One person has died and another person seriously injured in a crash in rural Palo Alto County yesterday morning.
The Iowa State Patrol identifies the victim as 22 year old Robert J.Biddle of Emmetsburg, the injured person is identified as 78 year old Mary Gappa of Ayrshire, she was taken by helicopter to Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City. The accident happened at 560th Avenue and 340th Street, Biddle was in a 2002 Chevy pick up while Gappa was driving a 1996 Ford Windstar Van. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
