Obama visits Algona.

Illinois Senator and Democratic Presidential Candidate Barack Obama visited Algona and the commons area of Algona High School yesterday. A large crowd heard Obama give some remarks and then answer questions during a a visit that lasted an hour. It was the first visit to Algona by Senator Obama since Easter time last spring also at Algona High School. The visit was well orchestrated by the Obama campaign staff, a contingent of national media followed Obama around as he made stops in Mason City, Algona, Emmetsburg, Esterville and Spirit Lake on the day.
