The Kossuth County Sheriff`s Department reports a one vehicle accident three miles east of Ledyard on 460th Street also known as Kossuth County road A-30 near U-S Highway 169 along the Springfield/Ledyard township line.
Kossuth County Sheriff`s Deputy Steve Smith identifies the driver as 19 year old Rafeal Castillo of Gilmore City who was driving a 1994 Oldmobile Achieva. The Accident reports states that Castillo was going eastbound on A-30 and lost control on an icy surface and went into the right hand ditch and the vehicle rolled onto its top. The driver was not seriously hurt. Some 19-hundred dollars in estimated damage to the Castillio vehicle.
