Kossuth County Sheriff Paul Gronbach says the arrival of more snow will not help the situation with county blacktops and gravel roads after last Saturdays snow and ice storm. Sheriff Gronbach says Kossuth County blacktops are mostly to partially ice covered and motorists need to slow down. He says snow might provide some additional traction but once it is plowed, the ice, at least part of it, is still going to be there.
Sheriff Gronbach says U-S 18 and U-S 169 remain in the best shape for travel in Kossuth County at this time.
