King Corn to be shown in Algona Saturday night.

A documentary film called King Corn will be shown in Algona next Saturday night. Film publicist Peter Carrells says King Corn was made mostly in Iowa and focuses on industrial agriculture, corn farming and the American diet. King Corn will be shown at Berte`s Back Nine at 7PM this Saturday night. Carrells says the Algona showing of King Corn is one of just nine showings of the film
in selected Iowa communities. Film Director and Producer Aaron Woolf received a Master`s degree in filmmaking at the University of Iowa.
