The Board of Supervisors meet at the Kossuth County Courthouse in Algona.

The Kossuth County Board of Supervisors met in weekly session at the Kossuth County Courthouse today. County Auditor Joann Bormann says the Supervisors worked through 20 agenda items. The latest entity to request a matrix and a construction permit for a hog confinement operation is an outfit called "Five Acre Swine L-L-C" in section 27 of "Riverdale Township". It was also made known that Luke Kollasch did receive a construction permit for the section of land in "Irvington Township" he sought to build up from the State Department of Natural Resources. The Board also talked about a request from The County Fairboard to use funds to create a website and also heard a monthly report from Hospital Administrator Scott Curtis of Kossuth Regional Health Center. The Supervisors also participated in the "Remember My Name" ceremony in observance of "Domestic Abuse Awareness Month" at The Courthouse.
