Remember my name held at Courthouse.

Crisis Intervention Service of Algona hosted an event at the Kossuth County Courthouse called "Remember My Name". Organizer Emily Evans says this region of the state has a decidedly rural slant to the issue of domestic abuse and assault with perpetrators using isolation tactics against victims. "Remember My Name" was held at the Courthouse to observe Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Participants included Algona Mayor Lynn Keuck who read a proclamation, and members of the Kossuth County Board of Supervisors, Sheriff Paul Gronbach, and Assistant County Attorney Jessica Reynolds. The names of all homicide victims from domestic abuse were read off.
