A river update for today.

The East Fork of the Des Moines River continues a slow fall as a River Flood Warning is still out from the National Weather Service. The latest stage sees the river at 15-point-eight-feet, flood stage is 14 feet and the river did crest a few days back at 15-point-99 feet. The river is expected to fall below flood stage sometime over this upcoming weekend. Meanwhile at Humboldt a River Flood Warning for the West Fork of the Des Moines River is posted, the flood stage there is eight feet, the river there crested at eight-point-eight-five-feet, The West Fork is expected to slip below flood stage over the next day or two.
