A civil trial has come to a conclusion in Kossuth County.
An eight person jury of six women and two men
found for the Defendant in a case involving Amco
versus the estate of Ted Phillips. The case involved
a fire in the year 2002 at Nick`s Pizza on Thorington
Street that gutted part of the business. In the case
heard by Judge Joe Straub Senior the jury sided with
the defense and awarded nothing. Nick`s Pizza
has since reopened under new ownership.
