Law enforcement report.

The Algona Police Department reports an officer removed a deer carcass from along U-S Highway 18 in the Dollar General vicinity last night. The Kossuth County Sheriff`s Department reported a car/deer incident in the Smith Lake area for which details are not available yet. Both Algona Police Chief Kevin Bangart and Kossuth County Sheriff Paul Gronbach urge motorists to be cautious this time of year as deer are losing their cover due to the harvest and the males of the species are behaving erratically because of mating issues referred to as the "rut". The Algona Police Department reported the arrest of an Algona man, 24 year old Micheal Craig Snyder was arrested on a charge of "Driving While Revoked".
