Whole grade sharing talked about.

The School Boards from Sentral and North Kossuth met this week in a special joint meeting to discuss whole grade sharing. The 2 boards met with attorney Rick Engel, who presented a 2-way whole sharing agreement, for 6th through 8th and 9th through 12th. An example of this agreement would be for each district to maintain their elementary schools, grades 6th through 8th would go to one district and grades 9th through 12th would attend the other district. It was only an example. Attorney Engel stated that this was a common agreement used by other school districts. No action was taken at the meeting and the two districts plan to meet again on Thursday November 1st.
