Democratic Presidential Candidate Senator John
Edwards wraps up his "Barnstorm for Rural America"
tour with stops in Esterville this afternoon and
at a farm at rural Cylinder tonight. Edwards
campaign staffer Dan Liestikow says the Esterville
appearance will be at the campus of Iowa Lakes
Community College at 4:30 where he will talk
about his plan to create rural jobs in the new
energy economy, he is expected to focus on the
school`s biomass energy processing program.
Then at the farm of Linus Solberg he will highlight
his plan to protect family farms against consolidation
by agribusiness conglomerates. The Solberg farm is
at 3780 510th Avenue. Edwards also is making stops
at Rock Rapids and Sibley today.
