From Kuoo in Spirit Lake

(Spirit Lake)-- A weekend traffic stop has resulted in drug charges against three Estherville teens. Spirit Lake police say officers pulled over a vehicle around 2:00 p.m. Saturday driven by 18-year-old Jordan Kayser of Estherville.A subsequent search of the vehicle turned up a green leafy substance alleged to be marijuana.Kayser was arrested and charged with prohibited acts-transportation of a controlled substance, marijuana; intent to deliver a controlled substance, marijuana; possession of drug paraphernalia; a drug tax stamp violation; no insurance and failure to use a turn signal.Two juvenile passengers, a 16 and a 17-year-old...both from Estherville...were charged with prohibited acts-transportation of a controlled substance, marijuana; possession of drug paraphernalia; a drug tax stamp violation; and possession of cigarettes. Kayser was booked into the Dickinson county jail; the two juveniles were transported to the Youth Emergency Services Center in Cherokee.Spirit Lake police were assisted by the Dickinson County Sheriff's Office.
