Six teens in Greenwood Township Accident!

A driver and five passengers were involved in a one vehicle accident five miles south of Swea City on Kossuth County Road P-30 in Greenwood Township. Kossuth County Sheriff`s Deputy Charles Robinson in an accident report identifies the driver as 16 year old Joseph Patrick Lium of rural Bancroft in a 1997 Ford F-150. According to the accident report driver Lium was going south trying to make right onto 380th Street and control was lost and the vehicle went into the south ditch, the driver tried to get the vehicle back on the road and the vehicle rolled. The report indicates the following passengers had to seek medical treatment: 16 year old Chad Preston of Swea City, 16 year old Brook Beadle of Swea City, 15 year old Blake Peterson of Ledyard, and 16 year old Nick Larson of rural Armstrong, 16 year old Dalton Guerdet of Bancroft complained of a sore back but refused treatment, the driver was not hurt. Seven thousand dollars in estimated damage to the truck. No citations were issued according to the accident report.
