Election Day is next Tuesday.

Election Day is less than a week away. Kossuth County Auditor Joann Bormann says 15 precincts in Kossuth County will be open that day, 11 precincts outside of Algona and four in Algona proper. 11 of the polling places will be open noon until 8-P.M. and four locations in Algona open from 7-A.M. to 8-P.M. Bormann says you can vote absentee now if you wish by coming to the Auditors office at the Courthouse and requesting a ballot or you can pick up a mail request as well. The deadline to register to vote in this election has already passed. For more information call the County Auditors office at 295-2718.
