Sidewalk space opened on on Highway 169 bridge.

Sidewalk space on the far west side of the Highway 169 Bridge Reconstruction Project has been opened up by the State Department of Transportation. Project Engineer Roy Gelhaus says while progress has been slowed down by high water on the East Fork of the Des Moines River, workers have created a walking space due to high demand. The City of Algona will continue to offer taxi rides across the bridge.
