A new display will be on hand at the Algona Public Library starting October 4th. Spokeswoman Ann Stillman says the display is called "20 Years/20 Stories: Photography, Film, and Writing" by David Thoreson, who grew up in Algona. The display will be presented at the Gallery in the Library through November 16th. The exhibit is co-sponsored by the Stinson Prairie Arts Council. Stillman says visitors will be able to place orders to purchase copies of the images in the show in limited edition giclee prints.
Algona Public Library hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 9:30am-8pm, Friday 9:30am-5pm, and Saturday 9:30am-4pm.
