Officer Barb Stence promoted....

Algona Police Officer Barb Stence has been promoted to the position of Sergeant. Sergeant Stence has been with the Algona Police Department for 22 years first beginning as a dispatcher, then becoming the first female police officer ever with the Algona Police Department. She has been working with youth for many years and also has been with the Iowa Association of Women Police.
