Flood damage in Kossuth County minimal....

Kossuth County Emergency Manager and Director of Homeland Security Jim Kelley says agricultural damage from two recent river flood warnings along the East Fork of the Des Moines River has been minimal. Kelley says some haybales have been lost and some fields remain muddy with some vehicles getting stuck at times. He says beans for the most part are done and some corn has been salvaged. He says so far no reports of drainage tile blow outs have been ecieved. Kelley also says the rain amounts have not impacted the Blue Earth river where some of the tributaries in Kossuth County flow into, he says the Blue Earth River has been bank full nd othing else. He says the East Fork of The Des Moines River is expected to fall slowly over the ext few days.
