Kennedy sentencing due Monday....

On the court beat 57 year old Barry Wayne Kennedy of Algona is due to be sentenced on Monday in Kossuth County Court on plea bargained charges of child sex abuse. Assistant County Court Jessica Reynolds says she expects Kennedy to be sentenced to two 10 year consecutive sentences and also likely will receive life on parole with supervision. Originally Kennedy had a long list of charges, the plea bargain was accepted without the case ever having gone to trial, Kennedy has been in the Kossuth County Jail since last October, Judge Dave Lester is expected to pass sentencing.
